Christian woman called to lead
...Yes, Lead Bold is for you!
Our Story
The idea for Lead Bold was sparked in a parking lot. After a large women’s event, Christine Ingebretson, Jodi Harris and Andrea Coli dreamed of a way to gather leaders together … specifically women in ministry. As ministry leaders themselves, they understood the unique call of a woman in ministry. Something started bubbling to the surface that day as they stood near their cars, sharing ideas of what space for ministry leaders could look like.
They couldn’t imagine where the ideas would take them, but they committed to listening to God’s prompting. Along the way, more leaders joined the adventure, and CrossWinds Church resourced what would become the very first Lead Bold Conference.
The team continued working, planning, praying and dreaming to create a 2-day conference specifically designed to refuel, revive and refocus women leading in ministry. In the fall of 2019, 250 leaders gathered for the inaugural conference. But even as the conference drew closer, the team knew Lead Bold was more than one conference. It was becoming a movement.
Lead Bold is a community of leaders who live out God’s call to ministry through their one-of-a-kind gifts, strengths and backgrounds. We are committed to walking alongside each other, supporting, co-leading, nurturing and challenging each other. Lead Bold is a space where women in ministry are emboldened to be the leader God invites them to be.
