The Lead Bold Pastors' Collective is a one-day event created specifically for female pastors serving in the local church to connect and find a moment of rest. Whether pastoring in the Bay Area or beyond, you are invited to a safe and restorative space for honest conversations and authentic relationships.
We’ll learn from vital, respected voices in pastoral ministry, including Dr. Miriam “Mimi” Dixon, a leader in the field of Christian spiritual formation, drawing from more than three decades of faithful pastoral leadership in a single congregation, and Rev. Dr. Christine Youn Hung, a dynamic leader in denominational ministry and racial justice.
We welcome all women in pastoral roles on a church staff, whether or not their title is “pastor.” Consider making this investment in you, your leadership and your church, by joining us for this impactful day!

Dr. Miriam (Mimi) Dixon began her ministry in 1979 serving as an associate pastor at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Seattle, Washington. From April of 1985 to May of 2019 she served as senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Golden, Colorado. She earned both her MDiv and
DMin degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary. Mimi is on the Renovaré Board of Directors and teaches for the Renovaré Institute. She is faculty for Next Frontiers, a ministry to pastors in transition, and actively promotes Christian Spiritual Formation, crediting Richard Foster and Dallas Willard for their influence in her life and ministry. Mimi has authored Worth Celebrating: a biography of Richard J Foster's Celebration of Discipline, available through Barclay Press.

Rev. Dr. Christine Youn Hung is a pastor, writer, speaker, and the Assistant District Superintendent for the Northern California District Church of the Nazarene. She is also the founder of NOW Movement, a Church of the Nazarene grassroots initiative coordinating efforts of Nazarenes emboldened by the Spirit to pursue racial justice. Christine
presently serves on the Regional Course of Study Advisory Committee for USA/Canada Church of the Nazarene and on Wynkoop Center for Women in Leadership at Nazarene Theological Seminary advisory council. She received her Doctor of Ministry in the Ecclesial Mission and Leadership at Nazarene Theological Seminary. Christine takes deep joy in her husband, Albert, and their 4 amazing children.
Salons
Lead Bold Salons are energizing, soul-filling gatherings for women in ministry who need a place to pause, connect, and be poured into. Every salon has its own flavor—different locations, topics, times of day, and vibes—so you can find the one that fits your rhythm and your season of ministry. Each salon is hosted by a gifted woman leader who will guide us through a focused, meaningful conversation.
Our Salons are designed to hit the ground running, so engaging with our pre-session materials is a vital part of the experience. Before we meet, you’ll receive some curated material—such as an article to read or a podcast to listen to—as a way to spark your thinking. We know your time is valuable, so our goal is to keep this prep work to less than an hour. This pre-work will help you be ready to contribute to a robust, fruitful discussion.
